The 32 year old Tokio Myers crowned winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2017 who won for himself £250,000 in prize money and an appearance at the Royal Variety Performance.

Myers had previously supported artists such as rapper Kanye West and His performance in the final took in a variety of musical styles, including his use of the piano and drums.

Tokio Myers is a London-based musician edged out eight-year-old magician Issy Simpson and comedian Daliso Chaponda in the public vote for the ITV show.

He fell to the floor after presenters Ant and Dec announced him as the winner.
Judge Simon Cowell said: “As a talent, as a person, Tokio right now, this was the most important thing for him, I’m thrilled for him.”
